Beach Boys – California Girls Listen Online

Posted in Classic Music, Music on August 6th, 2010 by melody – 2 Comments

The Beach BoysKaty Perry has a little trouble as she is charged by Rondor Records for using lyrics to their classic song ‘California Girls’ written and sung by Beach Boys – Mike Love and Brian Wilson, actually not Katy Perry, but her record label, Capitol Records.

As music fan, we don’t care the lawsuit between them, but only listen to the good music. And that is a not too bad thing as ‘it brings the Beach Boys’ 1965 classic to mind’, Mike Love said so. No matter Beach Boys’ California Girls’ or Katy Perry’s California Gurls, as long as you like it, there is no need to concern other affairs.

Bryan Adams – Everything I Do, I Do It For You

Posted in Classic Music, Idol or Singer, Music on July 1st, 2010 by melody – Comments Off

Bryan AdamsLet’s appreciate Bryan Adams’s classic song “Everything I Do, I Do It For You” before I talk about what the super rock star is doing now. As we know, Bryan Adams is famous for this theme song of “Robin Hood” which was once much popular and created the record of 3 millions copies.

Of course he is concerning World Cup because he loves football so much and ever wrote a song “We’re Gonna Win” for Chelsea which is the club he supports. He lives in England. It’s a pity England is unfairly defeated by Germany because of the mistake by judges. Maybe the failture of England is caused by such a mistake which may influence the mood of players in the following match, who knows? Anyway, it’s over. And I think Bryan Adams will continue to watch the World Cup, because he is man!

Bryan Adams is also a photographer. He has released his works on many magzines, including British Vogue, L’uomo Vogue, Vanity Fair, Harper’s Bazaar, Esquire, interview magazine and i-D. On June 1, 2005, with Calvin Klein he published a book called “American Women” in order to support the research about Breast Cancer. For his contribution on Charity, he will be honored Humanitas Prize this year. read more »

When first listening to the “Without You” by Chilly White and Kenny Peach, I feel much familar. Well, it is the Reggae version of Mariah Carey’s classic song of the same name “Without You”, but adds some elements of rap, as well as Blue and Rythem. Come on, follow the pace of Reggae music and compare with the classic soft version by Mariah Carey.

Andrea Bocelli with God’s Voice

Posted in Classic Music, Idol or Singer, Music, Pop Music on April 9th, 2010 by melody – 6 Comments

Andrea BocelliCelion Dion once said if God could sing, it should sound like Andrea Bocelli. That may be the best description to Andrea Bocelli, who has great enthusiasm in his life all the time. “What I most desire and hope to do is to comunicate with those listening to me, to touch them, just as how I was touched by my favourite singers in my childhood. They make me cry, and give me life full of dreams as well.” There is no doubt you can be touched by Andrea Bocelli’s voice. When you listen Andrea Bocelli’s Sogno, you may get rid of the noise of the world and abandon yourself to kind of beauty.

One deserved to be mentioned is that “Sogno” is created by the original persons who created “Time to Say Goodbye”… Andrea Bocelli will held his concert at the Singapore Botanic Gardens on May 8. It is indeed lucky for Singaporeans to have a chance to enjoy Andrea Bocelli’s God Voice.
